Jagannath University student Fairuz Avantika committed suicide blaming her classmate and proctor. In a post on Facebook before the suicide, classmate Amman Siddiqui was blamed for the incident. At the same time, the student blamed Assistant Proctor Deen Islam for the suicide.

Jobi student named Fairuz Avantika tried to commit suicide by hanging himself with a noose at his home in Comilla Sadar Upazila on Friday (March 15) around 10 pm. After that he was rescued and taken to the hospital where the doctor on duty declared him dead.

Avantika was a student of law department in the academic year 2017-18. He gave a Facebook post before committing suicide.

Regarding the complaint, Amman Siddiqui said, I have no contact with Avantika for a long time. Evidence is needed to prove guilt.

Proctor of the university Professor Mohammad Jahangir Hossain asked, he said that as soon as the complaint was raised against the assistant proctor, he was dismissed.
